1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files saved by the browser on your device when you use a website. They allow a device to be recognised and the page to be displayed according to your preferences.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We use the following categories of cookies on our website:
• Essential — they ensure the operation of the site’s basic functions, including Cloudflare-level security. These do not require consent.
• Functional — they remember your language choice (PL/EN) and your acknowledgement of this cookie policy.
• Third-party — set by external services we use: Google Maps (embedded directions map), Booksy (links to booking) and Instagram (embedded posts). Full information is available in those providers’ own policies.
• Marketing — the Meta pixel (Facebook/Instagram) used to measure ad performance and for remarketing. Loaded only after your consent.
3. Detailed list of providers
• Cloudflare, Inc. — security and site delivery (cf_clearance, __cf_bm);
• Google LLC — the embedded Google Maps component may set cookies on the google.com domain (NID, CONSENT);
• Booksy sp. z o.o. — triggered only after clicking a link leading to the Booksy service.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram) — embedded posts on the home and careers pages load only after consent and may set cookies on the instagram.com domain;
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta pixel) — a marketing tool for ad measurement and remarketing (incl. the _fbp cookie); loaded only after your consent;
Expiration dates of individual cookies are determined by the respective providers.
4. Managing consent
When you first visit the site we display a short informational banner with “Accept” and “Essential only” buttons. Until consent is granted, the Google Maps component and third-party scripts are not loaded.
You can change your decision at any time by clearing cookies in your browser settings or by contacting us at kontakt@selflovespot.pl.
5. Disabling cookies in the browser
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can change your browser settings to block cookies or to be notified each time a cookie is set. Disabling all cookies may, however, limit the use of certain features of the site (e.g. the embedded map).
